For the creation of my lamps, I often go to search elements and raw materials such as beams, slates, or natural floated wood.

My favorite hunting ground keeps being the old Normands farms, in which I can find oak beam, up to 2 or 3 centuries of age.

At times, in my meetings with materials, I discover articles such as this plate made of steel “GAZ”. I immediately imagine its association with either a beam, or a board, or a base, which is sleeping in my storeroom.
As a result: a sole and unique lamp.

Unique design lamp: can be seen only in my showroom.

I would not have done better. Decofinder is really the best website of decoration.

"
Wall Lamp

At daytime, it dresses up the wall with its shapes, its material and its multiple colours.
At nigh, the light becomes lively, it dances and from your walls come out the shade. The wall lamp can be oriented, be turned, and can be turned over. Some people even say that it plays with the light.

The wall lamp provides a soft lighting of the background, soothing, calming and not dazzling. In contrary to the central luminaries which have a tendency to generate an uniform atmosphere, the wall lamp offers at the same time a great flexibility of installation and a higher dynamism.

They often make a better effect per pairs, at each side of a sofa, a mirror or above a bed head. The wall lamps are recommended in dining rooms, halls, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
Luminaries or Design Luminaries

Luminaries or Design Luminaries ?

Why am I asking this question?

When we read the definition of the “Luminaries” in the French “Robert” Dictionary, here is what we may learn:

1) 1175 sources of lighting and luminous decorations used in church, at the occasion of a ceremony...

2) Nowadays: lighting equipment allowing correct use of the light (in particular by removing the dazzling)..

The lights of the range Vertiline are the perfect synthesis of these two definitions.
Realized with stained glasses blown with the mouth. It is the same one which is used as stained glasses in churches… The quality of this stained glass is incredible. The luminosity is perfect, silky and warm. It inspires meditation.

So Luminaries or not luminaries ? Two definitions joined together in only one range. To be seen on http://www.maximechanet-design.com
